St. Peter’s Brewery Beer Kits

St. Peter’s Brewery is based in Bungay, Suffolk. They have taken a similar decision as another East Anglian brewery, Woodforde’s of Norfolk, to produce some of their most popular products as kits for the homebrew market, and very well received they are too.

St. Peter’s produce three of their beers as kits, Golden Ale, India Pale Ale and Ruby Red Ale. Most people are first likely to encounter St. Peter’s ales via their bottled products which are widely available through good off licences and supermarkets, notably Waitrose, in my hometown of Kingston Upon Thames. St. Peter’s brewery website states that 90% of their produce is bottled 50% of which is exported. Their bottles are notable for their distinct oval design which has the look of how I imagine an old Victorian medicine bottle might look.
