Art of Brewing Yorkshire Bitter
Aob Yorkshire Bitter is like a sister ale to the AoB XXXX, and similarly it dates back over twenty years since I first saw it on a shelf. Art of Brewing Yorkshire Bitter has a slightly more rounded flavour, compared with the black label XXXX (and it doesn’t come with any added hop enhancement). A lady from AoB, I spoke to on the phone, described the Yorkshire Bitter as having a more creamy taste than the XXXX. To be honest I can’t say I noticed the creaminess but we certainly enjoyed this barrel and so did our friends.
Like other single can kits AoB Yorkshire Bitter will benefit from the addition of a kilo beer enhancer pack or in other words a kilo mix of spray malt and brewing sugar. We recommend leaving AoB Yorkshire Bitter four or five weeks to mature before opening.
