Muntons Connoisseur’s range is a mid-price selection. Single 1.8kg cans require additional brewing sugar and malt. The easiest option is to add a single kilo pack of Muntons beer enhancer which is a balanced combination of the two. The word “Connoisseur” suggests something special but these kits probably compare best with brands like Tom Caxton. I met a chap in a Somerset homebrew shop who was very enthusiastic about these kits, which he said are great if you want to be creative and ‘tinker’ with a kit.
